Welcome to Tabernacle Baptist Church

We welcome you to Tabernacle Baptist Church, the church on the hill. Founded in 1874, our home was in downtown Raleigh for over 100 years. In 2001, we moved to our new home on Leesville Road. But we are more than just a building. Our congregation is made up of warm, caring Christians who are committed to serving their Lord, Jesus Christ. We are a joyful, active fellowship with a place of service for people of all ages.

Community activities include a Shred-It truck onsite and a Community health fair with a blood drive, on-line heart risk assessment, information on blood pressure, lipids and other heart risk education indicators, and a group doing BMI and providing weight management information.

Bring your PERSONAL papers for immediate shredding and recycling by Shred-It North Carolina. They will also take electronics for recycling. Volunteers will be available to help carry boxes from your car.
