55+ Club Tabernacle Baptist Church's 55+ Club is affiliated with the Raleigh Parks and Recreation's program for Senior Adults. The club meets at the church at least once a month for a program that is educational, entertaining or fun. The second meeting of the month is usually a day trip to a restaurant, show, museum, or out of town for a special event. Longer trips (2 or 3 days) have been taken to Branson, Charleston, Savannah, Amish country, Nashville and Niagra Falls, Canada. We charter a motorcoach for these trips. We take part in activities provided by the Raleigh Baptist Association and Raleigh Parks and Recreation. Our purpose is to provide a balanced program of spiritual growth, continued learning, social interaction, and mission opportunities. All senior adults are invited to be a part of our 55+ Club.
